In nature’s brutal game of survival, the orchid emerges with grace and cunning. Minute adaptations over eons have shaped its petals and coloration to seduce specific insects and birds into copulation. Positioned in very specific ways, pollen is then transferred onto their unwitting ally’s body. The unsuspecting creature flies away ready to fertilize the next flower. A symbol of beauty in all cultures, the orchid represents the sublime collaboration that shapes all that we see.
